After an exhilarating outing at the University of Port Harcourt, the Glo Campus Storm concert will today take place at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, where students are already waiting and expecting to have sublime fun.
The 2016 maiden edition of the concert, which took place at the Gymnasium Hall of the University of Port Harcourt, was a spectacular success.
At the Enugu Campus of the University of Nigeria, students were seen in groups discussing the forthcoming event and looking forward to seeing their favorite artistes perform. Workers were also seen putting finishing touches to the stage area and surroundings where the concert will hold.
Among the artistes expected to perform at the event are Jude Abaga, better known by his stage name, MI, Timaya also known as the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa and rave-of the-moment, Runtown.
Ace comedian, Gordon will anchor the event while DJ Neptune is saddled with the responsibility of providing sound mix non-stop.
Globacom said the Campus Storm concert is an entertainment show designed to reward students nationwide who will have the opportunity of winning mouth-watering prizes and becoming Glo Campus ambassadors.
The company revealed that “10 winners in each campus will receive up to N100,000 each, with all the 240 winners vying for the ‘Glo Data Dude’ and ‘Glo Data Diva’ coveted crowns at the grand finale.
The two top winners in each category (male and female) will also have the chance of winning N1m each in scholarships in addition to being signed on as Globacom Brand Ambassadors. They will also get special invitations to all Globacom organised events and shows such as the Glo-CAF Awards, Glo Laffta Fest and Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce concerts.
Globacom explained that with just a recharge of N500 campus data plan students will be admitted into the venue of the show for an evening of premium entertainment.
