* Thanks Darl, she reciprocates gesture with $5m top-up for his biz
Mike Tyson has reportedly transferred all the money he made from his fight with Jake Paul to his wife Lakiha Spicer.
After making $20 million in one match, Tyson thanked his wife for standing by him even when he went bankrupt, while his first two wives and girlfriends all left him.
According to Tyson, he only accepted the fight with Jake Paul to celebrate his wife, and so all the money he made belong to his wife.
He said: “I’m very happy my wife and I got together. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Money doesn’t mean anything to me, because she’s my world, so I better give it to her.
“Her love is worth more than $20 million.”
But instead of accepting the cash, Lakiha added $5-million, and gave it back to the former world heavyweight champ accompanied by a heart-felt message.
She reportedly said: “Thank you darling; thank you my world. I am okay with just your love. If you’re okay, then I’m okay. Invest this money in your business because I know you need it more than I do. I trust you will use this money wisely.”
As a result of his wife giving him the $25-million, Tyson’s net worth has now skyrocketed from $10-million to $35-million.
