The people of Arochukwu Local Government Area have again expressed gratitude to Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, for the continued provision of palliatives to citizens of the council, especially during this period of lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The palliatives – consisting of packaged food items and household consumables – were channeled to the people through the Transition Committee Chairman, Mazi Emmanuel Jideofor Kanu, who in turned presented the items to the Secretary of the Council of Ndi Eze, Mazi Okorafor Uroh, for distribution.
Receiving the items from the TC Chair, Mazi Uroh thanked the governor “for his good heart and extra-ordinary leadership qualities”, which he said has endeared him to the people of the State.”
Mazi Uroh wished the governor well, and prayed for his quick recovery from sickness.
