Zenith Bank apologizes to customers for service disruption, inconveniences

Zenith Bank Plc has apologised to its customers for the inconveniences caused them due to disruption in online banking services

The bank further announced that it has completed its information technology infrastructure upgrade.

Following notification from the bank that it would undergo maintenance from September 29 to October 1, its customers took to social media platforms to express their frustration over difficulties with online banking transactions.

In an update on Thursday, Zenith Bank, through a statement on X.com, stated that customers can now access their accounts, make transactions, and enjoy banking services.

The statement read: “Dear Valued Customer, we sincerely apologize for the service disruptions you experienced recently on our banking channels.

“This was due to an Information Technology upgrade aimed at improving the quality of service we provide you.”

It added that the upgrade has now enabled customers to perform transactions conveniently through various banking channels, including its mobile app, internet banking platform, debit card, agent banking, and branches nationwide.
