The Lagos State government has ordered residents of Lekki Phase I, Phase II, and nearby areas to keep all street gates in the vicinity open between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm throughout the festive season.
The measure, the government stressed, is to facilitate smoother traffic flow and reduce congestion caused by the holiday rush.
By allowing these gates to remain open, residents and visitors can experience hassle-free movement during this period.
Adherence to the directive, the government further said, is crucial, as failure to comply may result in penalties imposed by the authorities.
