Renowned entrepreneur, Mr. Fidel Anujuo, has applauded Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, over what he described as visible transformation which his administration has brought about in the State within a short period of time.
Anujuo said by his achievements, the governor has confirmed himself as one whose political counsel will always be sought in Imo State and beyond.
In a statement issued in in Owerri, Anujuo commended Governor Uzodinma for his pragmatic and visionary approach to governance, especially the recent flag-off of work on two of the most economical and political viable roads in the State.
He said: “This particular action of the governor shows that he knows and feels the pulse of the people of the State.”
For Anujuo, “Uzodinma has come to wipe the tears of Ndi Imo and restore their joy and happiness.”
On Craneberg Construction Company, which has won the key roads, Anujuo, Chairman, Board of Administrators Orlu Gong, and Orlu People’s Assembly (OPA said, the choice of the firm is in line with the government’s promise to engage a company of Julius Berger quality and standard.
He further to commend the government for its choosing a tested and result-oriented construction company, for the important jobs.
He revealed that most of the landmark construction works done by the Lagos State government had the imprimatur of the Craneburg Construction Company, and are currently delivering on major construction especially in the Lekki-Epe axis of the State.
As is natural, Anujuo appealed to the governor to look in the direction of the roads from Mgbidi/Akata to Orlu connecting Okigwe through, Ideato in order to explore and transport the rich agricultural produce and other industrial products which are in great numbers within that axis, to reach other parts of the State.
This, he suggests, could be accomplished at little or no costs, yet with great multiplier effects, economically.
Anujuo charged every Imolite, irrespective of party affiliation, to support both Uzodinma’s government and the construction company to encourage them to give their best services to the State.
