- Expands global media operations
Loveworld Europe will, on Saturday, unveil a new state-of-the-art broadcast and production facility in London, significantly expanding its television, digital content and international broadcasting capacity.
The new facility, known as Loveworld Studios, London, is designed as a modern production hub for television programmes, live broadcasts, digital-first productions and multilingual content, combining advanced broadcast technology with the organisation’s evangelical mission.
The commissioning represents a major expansion of the media infrastructure of Loveworld Europe, a regional arm of the global Loveworld Nation, founded and led by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, President of Loveworld Incorporated.
According to Loveworld Europe, the investment is driven by a strategy to deploy modern media and communications technology to make the Christian message accessible to audiences irrespective of geographical, cultural and linguistic barriers.
The facility brings together professional broadcast infrastructure, contemporary studio environments, advanced production technology and creative spaces developed to support television and digital content production.
It features versatile production sets, sophisticated lighting systems, broadcast cameras, production galleries and supporting technical infrastructure, with provisions for future expansion.
While the investment substantially increases Loveworld’s technical broadcasting capabilities, the organisation said its central purpose remains the dissemination of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through television and emerging digital platforms.
The studios will accommodate Gospel teachings and faith-building broadcasts alongside talk shows, interviews, lifestyle programmes, youth-focused content and conversations addressing contemporary issues from a Christian perspective.
They will also support high-quality Christian music and worship productions, inspirational entertainment, live ministry programmes, conferences and special events.
A major component of the expansion is the production of multilingual and internationally targeted content, allowing Loveworld Europe to develop programmes for different countries, languages and cultures.
The organisation said the capability is particularly important to its wider objective of taking the Gospel beyond conventional geographical boundaries and reaching increasingly diverse international audiences.
The investment also reflects changes in global media consumption, where television audiences are increasingly spread across conventional broadcasting, streaming services, social media and on-demand platforms.
Consequently, Loveworld Studios, London, has been developed to produce both short and long-form content for television, streaming platforms, social media and emerging digital channels.
The studios are also expected to provide opportunities for creative collaboration, talent development and professional production services, broadening the scope of the facility beyond conventional television broadcasting.
Loveworld Europe said completion of the project followed years of planning, development and financial support from partners who backed the organisation’s vision of expanding its Gospel outreach through media.
The opening comes as the Loveworld Nation marks 30 Years of Pastor Chris on Television, commemorating three decades of Oyakhilome’s use of television as a major platform for Christian teaching and evangelism.
Over the years, Loveworld has developed an international media operation comprising television networks, digital platforms, ministry programmes and an extensive partnership community.
Its media strategy has increasingly combined conventional television with digital distribution as the organisation seeks to make Christian programming available to audiences across different platforms and regions.
The London studios represent the latest expansion of that strategy, providing Loveworld Europe with increased production capacity and an operational base for programmes intended for audiences within the United Kingdom, continental Europe and other parts of the world.
The organisation said its broadcasting mission draws inspiration from Matthew 24:14, which speaks of the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached throughout the world as a witness to all nations.
Against that backdrop, Loveworld Europe said the London project should not be viewed merely as the completion of another broadcasting facility but as infrastructure intended to increase the reach, quality and frequency of its Gospel programming.
