The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo, has declared that it will amount to insanity for anyone to refer to Nigeria as an Islamic nation.
Ministering at the Annual Youth Alive tagged AYAC 2026 at Canaanland, the international headquarters of the Church during the impartation service to end the programme, Oyedepo said such an individual must have lost touch with current realities in the country.
He said that Nigeria currently boasts of the world’s largest concentration of Christian gatherings every week.
He also referred to the exploits of Christian ministries in the country with reference to Dunamis, Salvation and the Redeemed Christian Church of God doing great work in the country.
AYAC, which started on Tuesday, August 18, had delegates from about 22 countries in attendance. The annual global event in the church worldwide gather youths for spiritual growth and development of all participants.
Apart from the gathering in Canaanland, participants also gather across the 36 states of Nigeria for the week-long programme.
