Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has put aside political differences, and wished Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti, well on his birthday.
He said: “My dear brother and Executive Governor of our Dear State, H.E. Dr. Alex Otti,
“On the occasion of your birthday, I extend my warm wishes to you and your family. May this New Year bring you good health, renewed strength, and continued grace in the discharge of your responsibilities.
“I wish you a peaceful and fulfilling year ahead.”
Kalu, a former two-term Governor of Abia State and senator representing Abia North, has been engrossed in a battle of wits with incumbent Governor Alex Otti ahead of the 2027 general elections.
While Kalu is a senator of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otti is serving as governor on the platform of the Labour Party.
