The Naira, on Thursday, traded N1,639 to the dollar in the official window.
Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange revealed that the figure represents a N42.15 or 2.5 percent gain compared to the N1,681 the currency traded for a dollar on Wednesday.
Also, the total daily turnover increased to $244.96 million on Thursday, up from $196.78 million recorded on Wednesday.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira traded between N1,700 and N1,635 per dollar.
