The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps have arrested about 25 miscreants following an early morning raid on some identified dark spots in Lekki area.
This was revealed in a statement by the Commissioner for Water and Environmental Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on X.com.
According to Wahab, during the raid, substances suspected to be hard drugs were found on the miscreants, who have since been detained.
The statement read: “During the early morning raid in the Lekki-Ajah axis, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) #LAGESCOfficial arrested 25 miscreants in Lekki.
Substances suspected to be hard drugs were also found on them.
They have been detained, and appropriate legal action will be taken”.
