Suspected gunmen have reportedly abducted the Archdeacon of Oyi Anglican Church and Vicar of St. James’ Parish, Awkuzu, in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Venerable David Arinze Ajaefobi.
Reports said that the cleric was abducted at the entrance gate of the Church.
A report from the church said no contact has been established with the abductors.
Police spokesman in the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the police had not received any report of the incident.
