Gov Mutfwang felicitates Sen Zainab Kure at 65

Plateau State governor, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his warm greetings to the former Senator representing Niger South Senatorial District, Senator Zainab Abdulkadir Kure, on the joyous occasion of her 65th birthday anniversary.

Governor Mutfwang described Senator Zainab as a bridge-builder, mentor and role model to countless Nigerians, particularly the women folk, whose political trajectory inspires them.

He lauded Senator Zainab’s remarkable leadership in the transformation and progress of Niger State while as the First Lady and Senator representing Nigeria South. He also described her as not only a symbol of peace and unity in the North Central geopolitical zone, but Nigeria as a whole. 

Governor Mutfwang recalled the impactful footprints of Senator Zainab at the National Assembly, where she sponsored the National Grazing Reserves Establishment and Development Commission Bill, 2008 and the National Poverty Eradication Commission Bill, 2008 among several others.

He commended Senator Zainab’s leadership style, which has been marked by humility, integrity, and compassion. These qualities, Governor Mutfwang, noted have earned her profound respect and admiration among her people and beyond.

On behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang conveyed his warmest congratulations to Senator Zainab Abdulkadir Kure, on this significant milestone, praying for good health and strength to continue to offer wise counsel for the betterment of Nigeria.
