Eze Aro, His Eminence Dr Eberechukwu Oji, has urged youths in Arochukwu Kingdom to participate in the ongoing skills acquisition programme holding at the Civic Centre in Oror.
His Eminence made the call in a statement emanating from the Royal Palace.
He said: “I encourage Umu Aro to participate in the programme, which will equip them with the skills they need to become independent and successful for the rest or their lives.
“I have been preaching that all Aro youths must be meaningfully engaged in one thing or the other; and that includes: schooling, apprenticeship in trading, learning a skill (such as the ongoing programme), entrepreneurship, or working in a company or government service.”
Eze Eberechukwu Oji emphasised that no Aro young person must be idle.
He added: “This programme is our little effort to translate talk to action. We are not just talking; indeed we are taking action to create opportunities for Umu Aro to put into practice, what we are advising them to do.”
The Arochukwu free skills acquisition programme 2025 is the brainchild of Open Arms Organization Inc. in conjunction with Royal Care Empowerment Foundation.
