EFCC nabs 64 suspected internet fraudsters in Osun, recovers 18 vehicles, other items

Operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 64 suspected internet fraudsters in Osun State, and recovered 18 vehicles.

The Head of Media and Publicity of the anti-graft agency, Mr. Dele Oyewale, disclosed this through a statement in Ibadan on Friday.

According to him, the suspects were arrested on Wednesday in Ede, following actionable intelligence on their suspicious activities in the area.

He listed items recovered from the suspects as including 18 exotic vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, and three Play Station games.

Other items were five motorcycles and other incriminating documents, among others.

Oyewale said the suspects would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations.
