The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Wednesday, sacked the boards of Titan Trust, Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank.
The respective boards of the banks were dissolved after a meeting with the apex in Abuja.
A source at one of the banks confirmed the sack but provided no details for the reason or next steps.
All four banks are involved in the special investigations into how the CBN was run under Godwin Emefiele, the former governor who was ousted soon after President Tinubu took office last May.
