President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after a four-day working visit to Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey.
The President left the Istanbul International Airport at 09:56am on Sunday, and landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 4.05p.m.
While in Turkey, President Buhari reportedly held talks with heads of states of some member countries of the D-8.
Speaking during the ninth summit, Buhari had canvassed assistance for the private sector and business communities in the economic organization. The assistance, he maintained, ought to be in the form of incentives to widen economic cooperation among member-states.
Buhari, accompanied by his wife Aisha, was received at the airport by senior government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari; Inspector-General of Police Ibrahim Idris, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Mohammad Bello and other presidential aides.
