The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has condemned the attack on his convoy in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly occurred along Murtala Muhammed Highway, around the U.J. Esuene Stadium and Metropolitan Hotel, where the NDC was holding a town hall meeting.
Obi spoke hours after the incident at the party’s presidential town hall meeting in Calabar, organised as part of his nationwide political engagements ahead of the 2027 general elections.
