The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has debunked insinuation that he is incapable of mustering enough votes to win in the South-West come 2023.
Obi, during the combined first and second convocation ceremonies of the Dominican University, Samonda, Ibadan, noted that he is the most qualified to lead Nigeria, adding that given the opportunity to serve as President, he would redirect the country from consumption to production.
He added that he would increase the economic activities and support institutions, especially the private sector to create jobs, by focusing on pro-poor activities that will pull the citizens out of poverty.
He emphasised that unless the government cares for the poor and pulls them out of their poverty, the country is unlikely to make progress.
