Two Senior Advocates of Nigeria – Tayo Oyetibo and Ebun Adegboruwa have filed an ex-parte application in respect of the removal of Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe by the Governing Council of the University of Lagos.
Reports say the lawyers filed the action at the National Industrial Court (NIC), Lagos, on behalf of the former Vice Chancellor against the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. Wale Babalakin; the Governing Council and the University of Lagos asking for an interim injunction to restrain the removal of Professor Ogundipe from office.
The case is said to be before a vacation judge of the NIC, Justice I.J. Essien.
