Tragedy struck Thursday at the Cele bus stop along Oshodi-Apapa expressway, Lagos, as a 40 feet container fell on a city bus (Danfo) and two other vehicles.
The container must have been unlatched on a trailer back.
In a viral video, eyewitnesses were seen trying to help trapped occupants of the vehicles while expecting the arrival of ny emergency response team.
It was learnt that the driver of the commercial bus died in the crash.
Passengers in the bus and those in the two other vehicles were said to have managed to escape.
