Tinubu, Atiku, Kwankwaso absent as Obi, Sowore, others attend ICAN confab

The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, and his opposite number in the African Action Congress (AAC), Comrade Omoyele Sowore, on Wednesday, attended the conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in Abuja.

Also present at the conference were the presidential candidates of the Accord Party and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Christopher Imulomen and Prof. Peter Umeadi, respectively.

However, the presidential candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, were absent at the event.

The conference held under the theme: “Nigeria: Adopting Sustainability for Economic Prosperity”.

Atiku’s running mate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa represented his principal, while the VP candidate of the NNPP, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, also represented his boss.
