Suspected bandits, during the weekend, kidnapped two Chinese nationals at Bode Saadu axis of Moro Local Government Area in Kwara State.
The incident happened when the Chinese nationals were supervising the BUA Bode Saadu/Kaiama/Kosubosu road project.
Reports said the bandits stormed the road and shot sporadically before whisking away the foreign workers into the forest.
In the incident, according to further reports, created anxiety in the community.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Adekimi Ojo, who confirmed the incident, said that operatives of the command have been working round the clock to ensure the rescue of the two Chinese nationals.
He, therefore, urged members of the public to continue to support the police in its task of curtailing the activities of the bandits in the State.
