The marriage between P-Square half, Paul Okoye, and Anita may have run into headwind.
The singer’s wife Anita has petitioned an Abuja court to dissolve their marriage after seven years.
This is coming a few days after Rudeboy released his debut album as a solo act, ‘Rudeboy Kill Us.’
A court document circulating on social media shows that Anita requested the dissolution of her marriage to the ‘Reason with me’ singer.
In the document, Anita’s lawyers advised the singer to challenge the claims and petition if he feels aggrieved
In April 2021, Anita sparked divorce rumours when it was reported that she relocated with their three children – Andre, Nadia and Nathan, to the United States of America.
In 2019, Anita was accused by a popular aphrodisiac vendor of buying items to keep her marriage together.
The vendor later took down the story from Instagram.
Anita and Paul got married in 2014 at a flamboyant wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt.
However, unconfirmed report quoted Rude boy’s attorney, Somadina Eugene Okorie as saying the singer is yet to receive any summons relating to the alleged divorce filed by Anita.
“I don’t think this subject is worth breaking a sweat on, because as I talk with you I’m yet to receive a brief touching the news already in circulation.
‘’If the story is real, I would have been briefed by now and this is devoid of sentiments,” he said.
