Relief is finally on the way for users of Arochukwu/Ohafia road as the senator representing Abia North in the National Assembly, Mao Ohuabunwa, on Sunday flagged off the reconstruction of the Federal highway.

Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, while speaking at the event, regretted that the Arochukwu/Ohafia road had passed through several promises and contract awards by previous governments without any concrete efforts to fix it.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Ude Oko Chukwu, commended Senator Ohuabunwa for making his senatorial zone and the state proud by complimenting the efforts of the state government in attracting and embarking on infrastructural development projects.
