Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, visited President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf, at the Cedarrest Hospital in Abuja.
Several other top government officials including the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, have also visited Yusuf at the highly secured hospital.
Yusuf was involved in a bike accident on Tuesday night. He sustained a head injury and had one of his limbs broken.
Doctors have already carried out an operation on Yusuf, while the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, on Wednesday returned to Abuja to be with her son.
The Presidency had earlier dismissed speculations that Yusuf has been flown abroad for further medical care.
In a related development, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has joined other Nigerians to pray for the speedy recovery of Yusuf.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Idowu Adelusi, quoted him to have prayed on his verified Twitter Handle that God will be with the President’s family at this trying time.
He said: “I wish the President’s son speedy recovery. May the healing hands of the Almighty God be upon the young man and may God be with the first family at this trying time.”
“God, who is the giver of life, will restore every aspect of Yusuf’s body that needs to be restored.”
