Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sacked the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Ibrahim Odumboni from office.
Also removed from office is the General Manager of Lagos Television (LTV), Siju Alabi.
A letter from the office of the Head of Service (HOS), dated June 9 directed Odumboni to vacate office immediately.
The letter was signed by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola. He was asked to hand over to the next in command, Kunle Adebiyi, who is the Executive Director, Finance of the authority and he is currently acting.
Odumboni was appointed LAWMA MD/CEO on August 31, 2020.
In the case of Siju Alabi, she was ordered by the governor to proceed on compulsory leave some weeks back and will not be returning as GM of LTV.
