A group of protesters, on Monday, stormed the Appeal Court in Abuja, asking the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal to stop the inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The protesters, who claimed to be a coalition of civil societies, said their mission was to ask the court to stop the inauguration, arguing that there are still several pending issues involving the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Tinubu.
After a brief moment of congregating outside the Court of Appeal building, security operatives tactically dispersed the protesters, while processes continued inside the tribunal.
