The Afenifere National Youth Council (ANYC) with a coalition of 147 other youth socio-political groups across Yorubaland are set to officially declare their support for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
National President of the group and the leader of the coalition, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, who said the public endorsement of Peter Obi as president has been slated for Tuesday February 14, 2023 in Lagos.
Ojajuni stated that both Obi and his vice president candidate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, will grace the occasion.
He further explained that the leaders of the 147 groups met on several occasions and carried out detailed analysis of the major president candidates before deciding to back Peter Obi of the Labour Party for the 2023 presidential election.
He said details of their analysis would be made public during the Lagos event.
