* Vow to sustain agitation
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, vowed that the party will continue its protest on a daily basis for a long time.
The former vice president spoke while leading the party on a protest march on the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), saying that the exercise will however not stop them from going to court to challenge the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.
The party also presented a letter of protest to the Commission.
It was received by the National Commissioner, Information and Voter Education, Barrister Festus Okoye.
Atiku led other leaders of the party to protest outcome of the presidential election won by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
INEC had declared Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of APC as the winner of the election with 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku who scored 6,984,520 votes while Peter Obi of Labour party who polled 6,101,533 votes.

But the PDP and their counterparts in Labour Party have accused INEC of compromise and described 2023 as the worst election Nigeria ever witnessed since the return of democracy in 1999.
He said: “We are protesting and we have every right to protest. It doesn’t stop us from going to court, the fact that we are protesting. We will protest for a very long time; either everyday or every other day.”
Others who took part in the protest included the National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu: former National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus; Sokoto State governor Aminu Tambuwal; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; Kola Ologbondiyan, Daniel Bwala, Senator Dino Melaye, among others.
