The Police in Ekiti State have invited a visiting pastor who bills members of his Church N310, 000 each as fee for spiritual journey to heaven.
Pastor Noah Abraham of the Christ High Commission Ministry aka Royal Christ Assembly, Kaduna State, convinced members of his Church to relocate with him from Kaduna, to a camp in Ekiti State, in order to “prepare for the end of the world”.
The Public Relations Officer Ekiti State Police Command, ASP Sunday Abutu, confirmed Abraham’s arrest in Ado Ekiti.
Reports say the pastor first relocated last year to Ekiti State from Kaduna, where he was formerly based.
He later returned to Kaduna in April this year and asked each member of his Church to pay N310,000 before they would be allowed to follow him to Omu-Ekiti, where “the gate of heaven will open for all of them”.
Reports further said Abraham also assured the members that they would all ‘ascend to heaven together from the location in Ekiti’.
