The Police in Abia State have dismissed a Corporal, Chinedu Nwachukwu, who was accused of raping a female student of the Abia State Polytechnic, Aba.
Corporal Nwachukwu was arrested as the news broke, and dismissed Wednesday following an orderly room trial at the command’s headquarters in Umuahia.
The dismissed cop, who was serving at the Eziama Police Station, Aba, would be arraigned in court, it was learnt.
Corporal Nwachukwu was reportedly found guilty of the rape allegation leveled against him by the student.
