…As community vows to crucify him, expect his resurrection on 3rd day
After learning of plans by the community in which he conducts his evangelism, a Kenyan pastor who claims to be Jesus Christ, has requested for Police protection.
The clergyman complained that members of the Bungoma (Yesu wa Tongaren) community had vowed to crucify him on Good Friday, in a way similar to how the son of God was killed.
After learning that Bungoma residents had witnessed him demand to be crucified on Easter in the same way as Jesus, the self-proclaimed Jesus Christ reported the matter to the authorities.
Reports claim that members of the community, however, reassured the ‘man of God’ that if he is indeed the Messiah, he would rise again on the third day and ascend to heaven after his crucifixion, adding that he should not be worried about his own life.
