Obi of Onitsha, Ooni of Ife storm Arochukwu to celebrate Eze Aro Eberechukwu Oji

Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, are set to

lead a delegation of Nigeria traditional rulers to the coronation celebration of His Eminence, Dr. Eberechukwu Oji, as the Eze Aro of Aro Kingdom on July 27, 2024.

The coronation ceremony, which will take place at the Arochukwu Civic Centre, promises to be a grand affair, with traditional rulers from across Nigeria in attendance. The event will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Aro Kingdom and the importance of traditional leadership in modern society.

“We are honored to be a part of this momentous occasion,” said Oba Ogunwusi.

“The Eze Aro is a highly respected leader, and we are pleased to see him take his rightful place among the traditional rulers of Nigeria.”

Igwe Achebe added: “This coronation is a significant event for our nation, and we are proud to be a part of it. We look forward to celebrating with the Eze Aro and the people of Aro Kingdom.”

According to the Chair, Publicity and Publications, Dr Azubuike Okoro, the coronation ceremony will feature traditional music, dance, and cultural entertainment, as well as speeches from dignitaries and traditional rulers.

It will be a day of great joy and celebration for the people of Aro Kingdom and Nigeria as a whole.
