* Buckles up against British Pound, Euro
The Naira, on Thursday, slumped against the American dollar at the parallel window of the foreign exchange market.
The Naira lost N2 against the American greenback to trade at N1,547/$1, as against the N1,545/$1 recorded at the parallel market, popularly called the black market, on Wednesday.
The local currency, however, gained N5 against the British Pound to trade at N2,120/£1 as against the previous day’s rate of N2,125/£1.
It continued to close flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1.
The Naira gained N5 against the Euro to trade at N1,795/€1 as against the previous day’s rate of N1,800/€1.
The exchange rates from the official window were not available as at 7.00pm on Thursday.
