The Naira, on Wednesday, depreciated further against the American dollar at the official window of the foreign exchange market.
According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data, the Naira closed at N1,473.29/$1, as against at N1,463.23/$1 it traded on Tuesday.
This represents a depreciation of N10.06 for the local currency against the American greenback.
The Naira gained N5 against the American greenback to trade at N1,495/$1, as against the previous day’s rate of N1,500/$1.
The Naira gained N25 against the British Pound to trade at N2,000/£1 as against the previous day’s rate of N2,025/£1.
The naira closed flat against the Canadian dollar to trade at N1,200/CA$1, the same as the previous day’s rate of N1,200/CA$1.
The Naira lost N15 against the Euro to trade at N1,750/€1 as against the previous day’s rate of N1,735/€1.
