A constitutional lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), has been appointed as a visiting professor to the Law department of the Afe Babalola University.
His appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor E. Smaranda Olarinde.
The legal luminary was appointed based on his interest in the university and his huge contribution to the legal profession in Nigeria. The constitutional lawyer, whose appointment takes effect during the 2022-2023 academic session, is expected to take part in teaching and research activities of the university.
Some of his perks of office include, accommodation and feeding, payment of travel expenses to the institution and back to his base.
Though he is not entitled to promotion, pension and gratuity, a moratorium of half a million naira will also be given to him.
