As the kick-off date of the Nigerian Professional League  draws closer, clubs  have started in earnest  to recruit new coaches and players to booster their squad in the coming season.

Top among them is Ifeanyi Ubah FC, which snapped up the services of Coach Ladan Bosso, the former coach of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, while veteran coach Godwin Koko Uwa moved over to Katsina United. There are indications that the hierarchy of Enyimba Football Club of Aba, Abia  State,  is still holding talks with former coach Paul Aigbogun, to return as their tactician  for the coming season.

Only last week, Rangers International FC of Enugu announced the signing of Gbenga Ogunbote as their new coach with one time General Manager, Davidson Owunmi  returning as the new general manager of the Flying Antelopes. Meanwhile, the new Rangers head honcho has revealed that he will like to place the club where it will be financially viable before they float the shares of the club  in the stock exchange.

In the meantime, league champions, Plateau United, have recruited more experienced players to enhance their chances at the next year’s CAF Confederation club competition. Some of the newly recruited players include former Kano Pillars captain Gambo Muhammed, King Osanga, Rapheal Ayangba and Peter Suswan among others.
