The Katsina State Hisbah Board has destroyed confiscated alcoholic drinks in Bakori town, within the Funtua Local Government Area.
The exercise was disclosed in a statement issued by Abdul Baki Mustapha, the Information officer of the Hisbah Board.
According to the statement, DC Bashir Lawal Balarabe alongside other Hisbah commanders from the Funtua zone, supervised the destruction of the seized alcoholic drinks.
The Hisbah Board said the action was aimed at curbing practices that contravene Islamic teachings and protecting societal moral values.
