The Kano State government has revoked the operating license of actress Samha M. Inuwa over indecent dressing and posting of vulgar content.
The government also censored any film featuring Samha.
The government announced the revocation on Saturday, through a statement by Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, its Censorship Board’s Information Officer.
Sulaiman explained that the actress, who was repeatedly warned over her “crude dressing and vulgar displays,” has continued to flout the Board’s regulations.
Samha was barred from appearing in any film for the next 12 months.
According to the statement, the development was in response to multiple complaints received from Kano citizens regarding her conduct.
