Prof Babagana Zulum has been declared winner of the March 18 governorship election in Borno State.
Zulum was elected in 2019, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The INEC Returning Officer in the State and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Wukari, Professor Jude Tsammani Rabo, on Monday, declared Zulum winner of the election.
Prof Rabo said Zulum polled 545,542 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mohammed Ali Jajari of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who secured 81,850 votes.
