Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Abiodun Ayoyinka aka Papa Ajasco, has debunked reports claiming that he is dead.
The clarification became necessary after Femi Ogunrombi, who took over the role from him in 2006, died on Saturday evening hence the mix-up.
Ogunrombi’s death created confusion as some publications erroneously used Ayoyinka’s photograph to illustrate their reports instead of the deceased Ogunrombi.
To further confirm that he is alive and kicking, Ayoyinka released a video to show his fans that he is not dead.

Years later, Ogunrombi in an interview, said fans connected more with Ayoyinka and he was asked by Wale Adenuga to forfeit the role to the original actor for commercial reasons.
