Amuvi village, on Wednesday, recorded its first win in the ongoing Ibom Waterfall Cup female football competition.
The Uda girls defeated their Amangwu counterparts by 2-0.
Goals from Nnennaya Okoro, wearing jersey number 10, in the 17th minute, and Chinenye Okoro in jersey number 8, in the 24th minute of the first half, sealed victory for Amuvi.
A recharged Amangwu team came out fighting in the second half, but they could not reduce the deficit.
After two rounds of marches, Ibom currently tops the league with four points followed closely by Amannagwu with the same number of points.
