Legendary highlife music singer and guitarist, Sir Victor Uwaifo, is dead.
Reports say the “Guitar Boy” died during a brief illness.
He celebrated his 80th birthday in March this year.
Uwaifo is also the first professional musicians to be awarded the National Merit Honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
He had served as the Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism in Edo State.
