A fire incident was, on Friday, reported at the Alaba International Market in the Ojo area of Lagos State.
The Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, lamented that an angry mob prevented firefighters from putting out the inferno.
The fire is said to have affected mainly the shanties used as shops in the market.
