Former Vice President Namadi Sambo, on Tuesday, visited Aso Rock where he held a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He arrived a few minutes to noon and headed straight to the president’s office and the meeting lasted for 25 minutes.
He declined to answerquestions from reporters thereafter, simply saying “my meeting was private”.
Sambo’s demeanor left reporters guessing if he plans to back Buhari’s re-election, and defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sambo was governor of Kaduna State from 2007 to 2010 before he was appointed vice-president by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010, a position he held till 2015 when they were defeated by the APC.
