An Ethiopian national, Sintayehu Legese, has won the 2019 Access Bank/Lagos City Marathon.
The victory has earned Lagese the $50,000 cash prize meant for the winner of the tournament.
Legese finished the race with in time of 2hrs,17mins, 26secs, while Joshua Kipkorir came second.
The second and third runners-up would be going home with $40,000 and $30,000 respectively.
