A former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, on Tuesday, abandoned his car to hike a ride on Okada bike in Ikeja, Lagos, staging a dramatic escape from traffic gridlock.
Fayose took the decision as a result of the hectic Lagos traffic, which he said is no respecter of persons.
In a post on his social media handle, the former governor was seen on the motorcycle with his security aide sitting behind him.
In his heyday as governor, Fayose would have easily navigated the gridlock with his convoy of official vehicles.
Taking the bike, according to Fayose, became necessary to avoid missing his flight.
“Lagos traffic is no respecter of anyone. I had to take Okada in Ikeja to avoid missing my flight,” he said in the post.
