The lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye, has apparently returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Friday, Melaye called PDP his home, claiming that the ruling All Progressives Congress (PAC) “suffered” him.
“PDP! Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see my home? When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home.
“Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see home? APC suffer me o. When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home,” he sang.
The lawmaker was elected to the House of Representatives on the platform of the PDP in 2007, but he decamped to APC before the 2015 general elections.
However, he fell out with the APC, after a disagreement with the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
He ‘survived’ the plot to have him recalled from the Senate, a process he regarded as kangaroo.
