Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has effected a minor cabinet reshuffle, appointing a former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Sir Festus Ovie Agas as a member of the Governing Council of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
The announcement, conveyed in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, said the cabinet shake-up is with immediate effect.
Sir Agas further said that Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka is deployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy.
Hon Sunday Tataobuzogwu was moved from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
While Mrs. Rose Ezewu is deployed from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, her counterpart in the Ministry of Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu, is transferred to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The governor also approved the nomination of the following persons into the Governing Council of Delta State University, Abraka, namely: Rt. Hon Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon Frank Enekorogha and Charles Ajuyah (SAN).
The statement further added that the inauguration of the Governing Council members will be announced in due course.
